Bookplate Dedication
We proudly offer our supporters the opportunity to add a loved one’s name to a volume in the Montclair Public Library’s circulating collection. The dedicated book can then be checked out by any patron of the Library or through interlibrary loan. Our bookplate dedication program offers a meaningful way to recognize or remember someone special in your life while also supporting a community resource that benefits people of all ages in Montclair and beyond.
Founded in 1893, the Montclair Public Library serves the citizens of Montclair, New Jersey through two facilities: the Main Library and the Bellevue Avenue Branch. The Montclair Public Library provides unlimited opportunities for lifelong learning, discovery, and community engagement. When you dedicate a book, you make that person a part of the Montclair Public Library’s rich history.
Dedicate a bookplate today with a gift of $100 or more, and choose whether you would like to dedicate a book in the fiction, nonfiction, or children’s collection*. We’ll send your loved one a personalized note, letting them know that their name is now inscribed in the collection of the Montclair Public Library.
*Note that we are not able to fulfill requests for specific book titles and there is no tracking of which books include bookplate dedications.
